As for all hotel packages Transfers from the Ferry Terminal are included. In case you like to make your own way we are happy to give you the exact details. Koh Tao is very close to Koh Samui and Koh Phangan too all accessible for day trips. Angthong National Park is ideal for day trips too.
Koh Tao is a small island in the gulf of Thailand only 21 sq kms. It is quite a hilly island covered in lush green tropical rain forest. Koh Tao was once an old penal colony for naughty boy’s way back in the 19030’s. These days it is one of the major dive islands in the world.
The word Tao means turtle in Thai, it is unclear just why the island got the name. Some say it is from the shape of the island itself looking like a turtle, while others say that years ago many breeding turtles used the island’s beaches to lay their eggs.
Either way Koh Tao is a beautiful island and well worth a visit, if only for a few days.
