The PADI Open Water diver course is the most popular scuba diving course in Koh Tao. The course takes 4 days and you are a certified Open Water Scuba Diver.

- Day 1
- 11:00 – Pick up Koh Samui Hotel and Transfer to
- 12:30 – Departure of High Speed Ferry to Koh Tao
- 14:15 – Arrive in Koh Tao and transfer to Dive Resort
- 14:45 – Check in, free time
- 16:00 – Diving Course start with orientation
- 18:00 – Free time
- Day 2
- 08:30 – Dive course starts with academics and confined water session – Full Day
- Day 3
- 08:30 – In the morning academics plus scuba dives 1 & 2 in the afternoon – Full Day
- Day 4
- 05:55 – Early start with dives 3 & 4 and final exam
- 12:00 – Check out at resort
- 13:30 – Transfer to Koh Tao Ferry Pier
- 15:00 – High Speed Ferry departs for Koh Samui
